This was the field trip that almost didn’t happen due to rain. But fifteen minutes before we boarded our vans, the skies cleared and the sun came shining through. The reason Art In Society got involved was to encourage students to apply their artistic abilities to curating the Nature Center’s museum.
IDY TALKS is a new series presented by Art In Society in conjunction with the Idyllwild Communith Center. Each month a student from a different discipline gives a talk about their chosen field of study, their art form. The event is presented in the town of Idyllwild rather than at the school campus in order to promote the mission of Art In Society – to inform, influence, or improve a community through the transformative power of art.
